DOTA 2 · Lineups & drafts
From lineups to the next draft decision
Learn how to enter both lineups, distinguish Radiant and Dire, load teams and player hero pools, and simulate a Dota 2 Captains Mode draft in Bladeform.
1. Enter both lineups
After login, open Lineup overview and select five heroes per team, or paste labelled text with team names and factions. Hero search supports Chinese, English and common aliases.
2. Check factions and roles
Radiant maps to A and Dire to B; this does not indicate draft pick order. Automatic role assignments should be adjusted to the actual lanes. Player order in pasted text does not establish roles.
3. Add teams and players
Enter a team name or OpenDota team ID to load available rosters and player data. Teams with the same name may have different IDs; check recent games and the target roster. Do not substitute another team when data is missing.
4. Explore the next pick or ban
Open Draft simulator to pick and ban step by step in Captains Mode, compare suggested heroes and undo choices. When a team is applied, candidate comparisons use available player hero pools.
5. Review evidence and save
Review lane, counter, synergy and sample evidence, including patch and sample scope. Lineups are saved in the current browser and do not automatically sync across devices.
A lineup text example to copy
This is a formatting example, not a real match or prediction. Replace the team names and heroes with your match; use TBD for unannounced heroes.
Example A (Radiant): Juggernaut, Puck, Axe, Rubick, Oracle
Example B (Dire): Luna, Lina, Mars, Tusk, Dazzle
Include only picked heroes, not bans. Radiant maps to A and Dire to B; text order does not establish roles or draft pick order.
